Thank you for your warm support for my blog. I’ve got some words to share with you guys.

Having maintained this blog site since 2008, I’ve had high and lows.

Honestly, the initial intention was to make profit out of this site by writing paid reviews or posting ads, but it doesn’t take long before I realized maintaining a blog purely for making money is beyond my tolerance. As I don’t like that kind of websites, I can’t allow myself to make another one.

For anything, you have to pay your price for your decision.

In such a world, on the Web, it’s not easy to maintain a website purely out of interest with no income generated, but by doing so it’ll be much easier to be genuinely independent. It’s freedom that counts, and ads-free is what I always want.

Recently, I’ve had a wide giveaway of promotion licenses for Windows 7, which is a pick-up activity from last year’s Vista giveaway. Originally, I didn’t anticipate so many applicants will be here, but it’s great to see people having huge anticipation towards Windows 7.

I don’t need “fake” readers, just like you don’t need “fake” giveaways.

You are not required to comment in good words of me, or subscribe to my website to gain a chance to win prizes. Everybody will have a fair opportunity although those in reasonable need would be favored a little bit. So don’t rush. By 8 pm on Jan 1st, 2010 PST, all comments present your wish in joining the giveaways, after which time no comment would be taken. Take your time.

I’ll need some more days to analyze the applicants, including their IPs. Those “professional” applicants, by which I mean those trying to apply for all the free stuff everywhere, will be excluded in selection, to my best tell.

To cope with the sudden surge of applicants, I’d arrange a special rollout for the final day of this giveaway activity. Info about Prize winners will be published on my blog soon after I made the selection. I’m looking at Jan 2 to initially roll out genuine licenses to those in most need, and from then on, for each day I’ll send dozens of licenses to prize winners. My expectation for the formal end for license delivery aims at around Jan 8th. If you still haven’t got your licenses by then and your info is listed, please contact me for re-delivery.

We had a deal for winners about obligation to share your experience about this giveaway, right?

Please leave them at http://uneit.com/2010/01/01/windows-7-giveaway-feedback/

 Thanks.
