I never doubt it when seeing Intel’s newly released promotion ads, featuring many of their own famous engineers, claiming themselves as the Sponsor of Tomorrow.

Of course, if you had spent time here, you’d probably know I am a Intel hardcore, never ever thinking about the lackluster/manipulator AMD.

Intel plus Microsoft are my only choices for IT essentials.

Whatever, I’m going to talk about who beats whom here.

Still under development in labs, Gulftown, the upcoming next generation Intel CPUs based on 32nm technology, is showing its very robust strength.

Normal voltage for such monsters to run cool at 4.0GHz would be a simple 1.20v plus and the temperature just varies from 31C to 50C depending on the utilization.

Overclocking is greatly revamped again. Under a 1.693v, you can have 6.1GHz.

Do not forget it’s a hex core, and every core has a dual thread…
