One Great Vista Feature Lost in Windows 7
Posted on October 01st, 2009 in Opinions
Basically, I am for Windows 7, wholeheartedly.
But, there is one feature that should never really got sliced in Windows 7, which is available in Windows Vista.
When moving icons in Windows Vista, you can place it anywhere you like.
There is one straight line indicating the location your moving icon will be placed. Very useful feature! However, this is sliced in Windows 7…
Now you can only move icons from one directory to another. Randomly arranging icons is not possible now.
I like to shuffle directories icons, but now I have to switch back to Vista to enjoy that.
Looking for a workaround under Windows 7, I am not happy about this.

It was a feature of Windows from Windows 3.0. But removed in Windows 7.
