Well, I’m not a news guy apparently.

I think you all knew it. Yep, the waiting was over. Microsoft released Windows 7 just on time at PCT 10:00 AM on August 6th.

Usually Microsoft’s servers for subscription logon validations and key generations would crash a lot, but not this time thanks to Microsoft’s decision to eliminate the embarrassment. However, the download speed is not so good, which keeps me eagerly waiting to grab all those images with patience about to run out. I’ve spent a whole day downloading, and only get two images done, with lots of others hanging in there with a progress of 60% plus.

I’m surfing on a FTTx broadband of 4Mb, and I got speed like this…

Whatever, this is the best products release I’ve ever seen from Microsoft these years, and they did a great job! Congratulations and thanks, Microsoft!

Also a piece of news here.

MSDN blog said they would provide Windows Server 2008 R2 around the next weekend, but actually for people with the right privilege, it’s already there.

All I can say…I’m telling you, this time Microsoft is even more generous. Great corporation, and I like them.

Alright. I’m too tired to write much, let’s save it for tomorrow, after I had grabbed the Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise.

Several thorough reviews on these NT 6.1 variants will be provided.

Guys, I’ve got a lot to share with you, and some little surprise prize for some. So stay tuned to this blog:-)
