I really like the Beta and RC. It was everything that Microsoft has not been historically. It was not just light and flexible, but was unencumbered by many of the typical of the short comings of a typical Windows install. It did not require true activation. It was a free download. They actually seemed for a moment in time to actually care about what the end-user thought.

Now... not so much. Now we are presented with the typical upgrade scenario. I find myself a bit disinterested. In truth, I have been using Windows 7 since January and I am bored with it. It is old and had its few moments in the limelight. That is over now. I need to move on to something better.
