Microsoft Released Vista/2008 SP2 Slipstreamed DVD Image over MSDN
Early this morning, Microsoft had debut the distribution of officially slipstreamed DVD images of their present OS with the latest Service Pack 2 integrated.
Coupled with the release are respective updated system symbols for developers.
Windows Vista SP2 was officially RTM’d on April 29th, and was announced by Microsoft on April 30. Due to the very high demand of Windows 7 RC/ Windows Server 2008 R2 RC, which was released on the same day, Microsoft had temporarily postponed the debut of SP2 integrated image distributions.
Apparently about two weeks passed, the heat is fading, Microsoft can finally release the long awaited official SP2 integrated images, their present effort on improving a great OS, Windows Vista, though with not great luck on customer reception worldwide.
Windows Server 2008 SP2 integrated images are also available on MSDN.
As a habit, Microsoft also release these slipstreamed OS images to TechNet Plus subscriptions.
Good job! Microsoft!
