Back in early December last year, I posted a page claiming Windows Home Server will be available on MSDN/TechNet, two major subscriptions for software developers and IT Pros from Microsoft. Many people quoted my post later on, raising up much expectation of the arrival of WHS.

But it never reached there…until this Monday, March 16th.

I’ve said it would be there eventually and friends checked with internals and confirmed my claim, but Microsoft just wouldn’t let it appear on the list of available software.

Eventually, after roughly 100 days’ eager waiting, they’ve let it go and let it out.

The official words are Windows Home Server will become available within next week, most likely on Tuesday, March 24th.

This time, finally, we can rest assured and wait in ease.

Thanks a lot, Microsoft, for finally answering everybody’s call, and by the way, proving me right. I wish you a long prosperity…

Nevertheless, for once and for all, I will not predict any piece of software’s date of availability anymore. It just doesn’t feel good.
