Info on Windows 7 Build 7057
Just several days after the hot leak of Windows 7 Beta build 7048, Build 7057 surfaced on the Web. Now there are thousands of people following the new leaked ISO from Microsoft.
It has been confirmed Windows 7 has entered phase RC since beginning from build 7057 the installation EULA shows clearly Release Candidate 1.
Users who had finished downloading of build 7057 early presented the details. A great difference from earlier builds would be the change of background image for Windows 7’s logon/off.
Info tip on the right corner of desktop reveals the true identity of this build, finished just a week ago, a fastest leak up till now.
As a tradition of Release Candidate, everything within starts to be shipped real. Hence, it shows “Evaluation copy” here, just the same as the final shipped retail copy would use, instead of the Beta trademark prompt, “For testing purpose only”.
Also, to pronounce itself in RC phase, the expiration time is shifted from 2.8.2009 to 2.3.2010, 7 months later than that of earlier builds.
Early testers claimed this build as “the most perfect build” after Beta.
Microsoft had been steadily moving forward with its healthy running Windows 7 project and many analysts believe they could get the new operating system ready as early as mid-2009.
Rumor still has it that the official RC of Windows 7, build 7060, has already been finished on Mar 10th, and will head to broader internal tests for debugging. The public are expected to get hands on this RC on around April 10th.
More info will be available in recent future.
