Microsoft had been steadily moving forward with its healthy running Windows 7 project and many analysts believe they could get the new operating system ready as early as mid-2009.

Rumor still has it that the official RC of Windows 7, build 7060, has already been finished on Mar 10th, and will head to broader internal tests for debugging. The public are expected to get hands on this RC on around April 10th.
