According to the INQUIRER, NVIDIA is working on a project to make an X86 CPU, with no license.

If the news were true, NVIDIA must be out of its mind. Don’t know what in the world they are thinking. Maybe they want to push their face off with Intel up to another level, to make it an all-scale war, but that will be unbelievably unwise as to the present NVIDIA, with no ground shaving graphics products against AMD while nothing new in views of motherboard chipsets and the present economy…plus one thing that should never be ignored, they got no license to do that.

Somehow NVIDIA might be desperate to find a shortcut to establish themselves as one of the Trio to line up with Intel and AMD.

But they shouldn’t. NVIDIA has got a wrong way to go.
