MSI Wind Notebook Update with 160G HDD
Quite recently, Microsoft had lifted its limitation upon the Minibooks, which is prevailing in the present market, with 160GB HDD to replace the original 80GB HDD. That means a lot!
MSI is the among the first vendors to illustrate you the very difference.
Configuration remains largely the same as the original Wind, except for the 160GB HDD.
Below are the pictures found on a overseas website.
A lot of peripherals attached.
This one is pre-installed with a Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP3!
When opening for the very first time, Wind will start a installation process that will give itself a fresh Windows environment.
This is really an officially pre-installed XP SP3, a stone evidence to break all the rumors that Microsoft will never publish a pre-installed OEM version of Windows equipped with SP3.
Exactly the same configuration and the HDD difference by a 160GB over the 80GB before.
Though we do not expect any increase in performance, a simple and quick switch to 160GB would make a lot sense given the computer world is very much evolving over the capacity.
MSI had done a great job in judging the wind, and of course, other vendors will mostly follow.
