Western Digital had released its latest 1TB internal desktop HDD, WD1001FALS, under its brand new WD Caviar Black series.

This could be a special one, a test about a 15000rpm 36.3GB HDD, which could be rarely seen in DIY market. Dedicated to server use, these super fast spinning HDDs are real monsters in views of comprehensive performance under huge, if not full, load for 24*7 use.
