The Unbelievable E8600 E0 Stepping Performance
We know Intel has been increasing its able frequency in a steady way, but we were not daring enough to expect that to come so fast. Days ago, Intel had released the latest modification upon their very great product lines, Core 2 Duo, in name of E8600, with an increase in frequency to 3.33GHz.
Several hardware enthusiasts had got early Engineering Samples and released initial test reviews. Now the official retail version of E8600 is on market, questions around the final performance surfaced.
JC is one of those early birds who had released early look on Intel Nehalem microarchitecture and a great overclocker who had been setting world overclocking record. He had got a brand new retail E8600 and posted a detailed review online which can be viewed here.
It’s said to be delivered directly from Malaysia. Have a look!
Directly boot with 600*7.
How about 600*7.5?
5GHz at 1.48v…Incredible
According to JC, all E8600s could manage 600*7.5 at around 1.225v to 1.27v. Simply WOW!
Cannot wait to get one!
