Combination keys to reveal DELL laptop temperature
Do you own one DELL laptop?
If you do, keep reading ahead to make good use of a secret hidden in them.
You are going to read on about information that might have the potential to break your laptop. Proceed at your own risks.
Open your DELL, boot up into the OS. I assume you are using Windows, but that will not matter that much even if you are using Mac OS.
There is a secret, a treasure lying behind.
That is a set of combination keys.
Well, to be point blank, it is not a secret that could make your Inspiron become an XPS, but it is one that could save you a little time if you are eager to know how hot your computer is running at while not having an proper software to report you the digit.
Next time if you got stuck in scenario wondering the actual temperature of the buddy sitting upon your leg, try this set of keys combination to have a professional while digitally bold way of checking temp.
First of all,
press the combination keys, FN+SHIFT, keep pressing it while at the same time, press number 1, 5, 3, 2, 4 consecutively.
After that, you can release any key you have to keep, then, at any convenient time for you,
press another combination keys, FN+R.
And you’re done!
Read your hardware powered figures directly from your laptop.
Isn’t it cool?! Check your own DELLs^_^
And never forget to remember this, as a consequence of reading some information “private”, your DELL will not stop shining its caption key light until it gets booted up another time, and some more serious “aftermath” might even be Blue Screen Of Death.
Don’t be worry. It will do not harm. Just a restart would get all back to normal. No data would be lost or any permanent damage will be caused. This is a factory way of checking temperature, so it will inevitably be bold and not quite user-friendly.
So you got to be prepared.
Whatever, enjoy DELL in your own way.

Sorry to hear that. It’s my fault not having inclued an extra explanation here. You have to keep pressing FN+SHIFT while you press 1, 5, 3, 2, 4 number keys. Then you can key FN+R whenever you want, and that will definitely work on all models of DELL laptops.
Yet, there is a catch, which is exactly what you had encountered. The keyboard lights will keep flashing until your next restart. It’s a price to pay. The good thing is that would not lead to any failure of the whole system and it will recover the moment you restarted your computer.
